My journey as an artist began with a highly successful career as a graphic designer and design studio CEO. As a commercial artist, I was able to travel the world, experiencing the people and their culture first-hand. These enriching experiences have had an impact on my work in ceramics.

As one career comes to a close, another begins. I have worked full-time to hone my skills in the ceramics field. I feel all roads have led me here. I am able to use my past experiences to advance my ceramics practice. My lived experiences have brought life into my daily work. I look at things through the lens of these lived experiences. I spent years designing high-end luxury packaging for the retail market. I have an appreciation for elegance and simplicity which is often hard-wrought. I have always believed that good design withstands the test of time. I keep this at the forefront of all that I do. I work exclusively with high-quality porcelain.

At the heart of my ceramics is oneness: oneness with form, function, beauty, and simplicity to reveal a quietness at the soul of the piece itself.

I originally hail from Ohio and graduated cum laude from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. I have been a long time Arizona resident and currently reside in Tucson. My ceramics studio is located in the historic town of Oracle, Arizona.
